Vintage Wedgwood Black Basalt Gardenia Bowl

A sculptural Wedgwood Gardenia flower bowl crafted in the English maker’s distinctive black basalt. Its broad, low silhouette and subtly rounded rim were designed for low floral arrangements, though the restrained form is equally striking displayed on its own.

The matte charcoal-black finish and neoclassical simplicity allow it to move effortlessly between traditional and contemporary interiors. A handsome centerpiece for a dining table, console, or collected cabinet.

Marked Wedgwood to the underside. England, 20th century. Vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use.
