Pair of Monumental Patinated Bronze Jardinieres on Stands, Attributed to Tiffany Studios, circa 1910–1915

An impressive pair of early 20th-century patinated bronze jardinieres, attributed to Tiffany Studios, New York. Each deep urn-form vessel is raised on a tall architectural stand composed of slender crossed supports punctuated by classical floral rosettes.

The bronze retains a particularly beautiful, richly weathered surface of verdigris, deep green and warm brown, developed through age and garden use. Both sculptural and architectural in scale, the pair has tremendous presence in a conservatory, entrance hall or formal garden.
