Pair of Cast Iron Grey Garden Urns on Pedestals

A striking pair of cast iron garden urns, each distinguished by a broad, rounded bowl with pronounced gadrooned detailing and richly modeled foliate ornament beneath the rim. Dramatic scrolling handles extend from either side, terminating in stylized botanical forms that give the urns an especially sculptural character.

Each urn is raised on a substantial square pedestal with recessed panels and relief ornament, creating an elegant vertical composition and strong architectural presence. The combination of classical urn form, ornamental handles, and decorative pedestal bases makes this pair particularly effective as garden architecture.

With their softly weathered gray finish and naturally aged surfaces, the urns have the quiet gravitas of established garden pieces. Beautiful flanking a doorway, gate, staircase, terrace, or garden path, they would also translate beautifully into a conservatory or other interior setting where architectural garden elements are brought indoors.

Dimensions: Approximately 31" H × 27" W each.

Condition: Weathered surfaces with oxidation, surface wear, and minor casting irregularities consistent with outdoor exposure. Structurally sound and stable, according to the auction description.

Sold as a pair.
